Approval Flow from Form submission

I am having trouble with the final step of my currently project.

i have created the Form which populates the spreadsheet as required. however, i am trying to build an approval flow which will send an email for approval once the form is submitted and update the table depending on the response.

on submission of the form i receive the email as expected however, when the response  is submitted the condition outcome is either skipped or failed. i have requested a single coloumb to be updated and have attached a screen shot below of the flow and condition.

Can you share screenshots of the flow run history—specifically the inputs and outputs of the action that’s failing?

Seeing the actual runtime values will make it much easier to identify what’s going wrong.

    Hi

Thanks for the screenshot. In your Update a row step, the Key Value is set to 'Approve {ResponseId}'. The ResponseId comes from the Form submission, but in your Excel sheet the Approval column is empty, so there is no matching value for the flow to update.

When updating a row in Excel, you must have a unique column with existing values to identify the correct row. Using ResponseId as the key does not work here because that value doesn’t exist in your Excel table.

I also noticed in your flow screenshot that both the true and false branches of the condition are using Update a row, which might cause additional confusion.

Consider changing the Key Value—rather than using ResponseId, use another column that has unique values already stored in Excel. If that isn’t possible or does not resolve the issue, please explain your requirements in a bit more detail so I can help you find the right solution.
