Hi,
I have created a flow to capture the Outlook emails received from a certain account to my account and thereby downloading all the attachments in a folder and email messages in a separate folder.
I am facing 2 problems (although i have posted this query before also):-
1. There are many email & corresponding attachments which should have been downloaded into the destination folder. But i am observing that only 5-6 email messages being saved/downloaded.
2. I would like to save the emails for certain period only say 01-June-22 to 30-June-22. For this, i selected "Date display dialog box" and entered the dates. However, i am unable to come up with a Loop or If Statement, which i can use to capture the events falling b/w these 2 dates only.
Kindly help.
Dear All,
I am still unable to find any solution to the problem. The PAD flow downloads all the email attachments received from the sender, irrespective of the dates mentioned in the PAD. Any help possible? Or any update released by Microsoft which can resolve my problem.
Hi VJR,
Tried as per your instructions, and till 4 Loops runs, no email message was saved.
After 5th run lots of message saved that are even beyond selected period 01-June-22 to 30-June-22.
Sir, do you know any other user who had faced the same issue.
Regards,
Can you step through the code using the "Run next action" on the top and see what's going wrong where. That will tell the "why". See if there is any pattern for specific emails getting picked up and others not.
Hi ryule,
Although modifications done as suggested, the problem is still appearing. Screenshot enclosed. Please look into.
That Save step needs to be where "get this email" is and updated to CurrentItem
(in theory; I've never actually done this, but that's where the logic is, so that's where it would need to be to only save the ones you want)
Hi VJR,
Somehow the flow is not working although it runs perfectly with Final Status : Ready.
Sometimes the Output still yields 7-8 email only whereas i have 20 such emails.
When i selected some other email account to test the flow, then i observe that it has no regards to my restricted dates and is continuously running without any date limitations and yielding 51 emails whereas there should be 10 emails only.
I am pasting the screenshot of flow i had prepared and i would like to mention that i have also saved the retrieved email. Hence a extra Step from your email.
I think there is a bug here. Should i report it and where it can be done.
Regards,
I think he means the "Save Outlook email messages" command, using the variable produced from the Retrieve action.
It was just the comment action for you to do what you want after satisfying the date conditions.
Hi VJR,
How did you get "Get this email" . I am unable to find it in Drag and Drop Feature. Am i missing something?
Please help.
