I am doing a process where an email comes from a certain person with a certain subject line. In that email there will be a PDF (invoice) from which I need to extract information that will then be written out in an email to someone else.
Could you advise how do I get to that PDF from the email and then extract that information? First of all, how do I get to that PDF from the email please.
Just so you can try to do it for yourself, there are lots of examples that would help you.
I typed "get a PDF email attachment, save it and extract data power automate" and got lots. Now I know its not like hey I know what I am doing, but please try to do it based on these steps you want to take
1. Get an email from a Mailbox
--Add a Condition to trigger if the subject says ABC
2. Grabbing data from the PDF really depends on what actions you are willing to use and or pay for. Its not a 1 size fits all, but here is an examlpe
3. You said written out in an email. So you don't want it attached, you want the PDF to exist in the middle of the email?
If you want it attached its one thing. If you want it essentially embedded its another.
