Adding a condition based on free-text field (Forms to Lists)

Hi all,

I have a Microsoft Form which contains free-text fields allowing people to enter actions. I am building a flow which aims to extract the action, along with a few other defined fields, and log them on a List.

The bit I am struggling with is setting it so that it only copies the data if there is something in the free-text field.

Any ideas on how I can build this? I did look at the conditional but I couldn't work out how to say 'if this field contains anything at all'.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Nicolle,

Can you not set the condition to say Field is equal to and then leave it blank, you would then run your copying on the no side and leave the yes side blank.

So if there is nothing in the free text field do nothing and if there is something do your copy.

    Thanks,

    Edd

    Hi Edd,

Tried that and it didn't seem to work unfortunately - still ran even with the above in place.

    Hi Nicolle,

You could try adding Null as an expression?

    Hi Edd,

Just tried that and ran again, it is still pulling through.

Would you be able to post a picture of the flow so can see what is happening please
