Can't edit form with Custom API as Data Source

Hi,

In the new update (v652), I'm having troubles when editing the forms if I use my Custom API as Data Source.

Can you solve this ASAP?

    Hi @jmoreira_myp,

    Thanks for the feedback.

So in your situation, the form control only can't work with the Custom API data source?

Have you checked with other data sources?

Please take a try to uninstall and reinstall the PowerApps studio, see if that would help.

If issue insists, please open the problematic app under PowerApps, navigate to

    File->Account-Session Details

Copy and paste the Session ID here.

I will then formard it for further investigation.

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi @v-micsh-msft,

It just doesn't work if I use a Custom API as Data Source on a form.

I use the web version of PowerApps Studio, so I can't do nothing about this, just wait for your fix on this.

    Hi,

I mean, this is very upset... I have to edit the forms and I can't...

This problem is online for about 3 weeks! This isn't acceptable!

    Hi @jmoreira_myp,

    Update here.

I was told that forms are designed for tabular data, so here putting the API directly will not work.

Also collection is not able to be used under form control.

So currently, there is no workaround for this.

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi @v-micsh-msft,

The problem is, that in the previous build, edit forms with DataSource from Custom API where working.

Since the new build this is not working...

    Hi again,

3 weeks waiting since I reported this problem. I know that Custom API is not a tabular data, but in the previous build this was working.

Please revert this condition to Custom API's or give tabular data support to Custom API's...

    Best regards,

    Jorge Moreira
