Trigger Missing "When a new chat message is added"

Hello together,

I try to set up a flow with the trigger "when-a-new-chat-message-is-added". Unfortunately this is missing in my trigger list.

I tried to use an automatic cloud flow for this. I cannot use the other triggers, as I want also trigger messages from 1:1 or meeting chats (so not only channels or group chats with known id).

Would appreciate any hint.

Microsoft Power Automate may not have a native trigger specifically for "When a new chat message is added" for WhatsApp. The available triggers can vary, and new features or connectors may have been introduced

Thanks for your response. I am searching for a MS Teams Trigger, not WhatsApp.
In various online posts you can find this trigger easily (as also visible in linked documentation), so I wonder why it does not appear for me.

Can you try searching for Teams and selecting the Microsoft Teams icon. This should provide a list of all the Microsoft Teams triggers you have available.

You should then see the trigger you are after.

Its a bug in translation 🙂

I tried to find all triggers from documentation in my list (2 upper ones are showed using old designer).
Turns out that the "When a new channel message is added"-Trigger is present twice, of which one is indeed the "When a new chat message is added"
