Signing In Issue

When i sign up in the PowerApps site it tells me that the address is already registered. Which is great because I acknowledge that it is already registered as I have an MSDN subscription with said email address.

However when I try to sign in with the said email address it says:

Hmmm… We didn’t find that email address. Make sure you’re using your work or school account

Can anyone provide assistance please?

Many Thanks.

    Hi @JSBachra

Sometimes, that type of error occurs when you've logged on with a different Microsoft account and haven't completely signed out.

To diganose this, I would try opening a browser in 'private browsing' or 'incognito' modes. When you're prompted to sign in, make sure to choose the 'Work or School account' option. Do you still get the same problem if you do this?

I still seem to be having a problem.

I can't do a new sign up using the email address because it already exists as a Visual Studio(MSDN) subscriber. At the same time it won't let the same email address Sign In.

I think the email address is marked as personal rather than School/Work. Could this be the issue?

Is there anyone at Microsoft I can speak to?

    Hi @JSBachra

In answer to your question, yes - I think the problem is because there is a personal Microsoft account associated with your email address.

It's possible to have both personal and work/school accounts associated with an email address.

If you were to set your browser to in-private/incognito mode, it would ensure that you are completely logged out of all Microsoft services that are associated with your personal account, and increase the likelihood of you being able to log in correctly with your work/school account.

Are you still receiving the "Hmmm… We didn’t find that email address. Make sure you’re using your work or school account" error when you use the in-private/incognito browser modes?

In terms of contacting someone at Microsoft about this issue, you can do so by clicking the 'create support ticket' button on the following page.

hI @JSBachra are you still experiencing this issue? Did you create a support ticket?
