Alerting on Windows Event logs

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is aware of a way to get alerted to new events in Windows Event logs on a server via Power Automate?  Is there a connector that can find application/system events on a server, or is this something typically done in PowerShell?

Thank you!

Hi @VictorIvanidze thanks!  yep I saw that one and wrote my powershell script based on the same page.  I guess I was just trying to make it easier to see if Power Automate could pick up on events to trigger a flow to make it simpler.

Now that I think about it (if someone really wanted to do this), we could:

    1. Trigger the powershell script to run from the event
      1. https://clusteringformeremortals.com/2018/10/28/step-by-step-how-to-trigger-an-email-alert-from-a-windows-event-that-includes-the-event-details-using-windows-server-2016/
    2. Use the powershell to call the Power Automate flow
      1. https://blog.powerplatformdude.be/2019/08/21/ms-flow-10-trigger-a-ms-flow-from-powershell-script/

The intent of my original post was to try to avoid all that scripting by seeing if there's a way that Power Automate could trigger based on a Windows Event itself, but if someone really wanted to trigger a flow based on an event, they should be able to.
