Using Dynamic Content to get file Conent

HI,

Up until recently I had a flow running that would take a list of names and email addresses and send out a file to each of the email addresses.

The files are made and stored seperatly on Onedrive for Business.

This worked for about 2 months until recently I cannot for the life of me get it to find the right file using dynamic content.

More info:

Flow error.png

Above is a much simplified version of the flow, when i run it it gives me the same error:

'The resource could not be found'

I've made sure the resource is definitly there and if I type out one of these in plain text (using no dynamic content) the flow works.

I grab one of the columns from the SNAP extract frame and use it in the path.

This used to work and it doesnt now.

Can anyone help?

    Hi @JoshSimpson1,

Could you please show a bit more about your Excel files?

I have made a test on my side and don’t have the issue that you mentioned. My flow’s configuration as below:7.JPG

The flow works successfully as below:8.JPG

Please check if the dynamic content that you select matches the PDF file name (not include extension name) within “Get file content using path” action.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Thankyou for taking the time,

It's odd but I've re-built this aside from anything else and it seems to work.

I'm going to accept this as the answer but just add a couple more details in case anyone else stumbles into here.

    I re-built it changing a few things:

    - I moved the files I wanted to grab into the root folder along with the excel file that I was drawing from.

    - I wrote out a new excel file in case it was some formatting that was causing the problem.

    - I simplified the flow to only look at get file content using path because this is where the error was.

It's not done yet I'll need to build it up and see which bit of the original flow is failing but I can debug now!

    Thankyou v-xida-msft for the help.

    Josh
