Populate text input with email address of a user selected in person (combo) box

Hello,

Populate text input with email address of a user selected in person (combo) box but I can't seem to get the syntax right

The goal is if a toggle (DataCardValue12.Value) is false then the default property of a text input would be the email from the user that is in a person combo box, else it would be the email of the person in a different combo box.

The Syntax I'm using isn't correct

Where am I going wrong exactly, or is this even possible.

I appreciate any help I can get.

Try this (change toggle with your toggle name):

If(!Toggle1, DataCardValue16.Selected.Email, DataCardValue4.Selected.Email)
