Screenshot Save to File fails when run on a Gateway initiated through a manual trigger on flow.microsoft.com

I'm not sure if this flow can get any more simple:

Runs fine when running through the PAD desktop app, but when run through a flow.microsoft manual trigger, it fails every time:

Let me know if I'm just completely missing something... Thanks!

It seems the machine was misconfigured.  I reinstalled the Gateway and PAD, the flows are using the mapped network drives, and things seem to be working, mostly... I might still not have something setup right as I still get a random error message when editing the flows online..

There was a problem retrieving your desktop flows. You need a database to create desktop flows. Create a Microsoft Dataverse database in your current environment.

It seems to just be failing to even take the darned screenshot:

And here I go testing a mapped network drive, still just fails to even take the screenshot:

    Hi steef,

To my knowledge, there is no limitation for Power Automate Desktop in accessing network paths as long as there are the appropriate permissions. Try to create a network location in "This PC" and then try to declare it as destination folder for the screenshot to be saved.

    Thanks,

    George

    Neither are working for me.

Tried 'em both with that same simple flow.

Odd, I would have expected it to be the other way around, as in N: wouldn't work, but \\Network should.  If you find out, please let us know.

Okay, so I changed it to a different folder and it appears to be working.  I discovered this with another flow that saves a screenshot to a network directory.   Is there some sort of limitation in place for saving to a network directory?  I'll try mapping it to a letter drive and see if that helps.

    Hi steef!

Thanks for getting familiarized with Power Automate Desktop! I tried to reproduce your scenario with both Gateway as well as Machine Management, which I recommend you to also try out, and couldn't fall into that error.

Well, what I did slightly differently is to not save in C: drive directly because of some restrictions that Windows have. Honestly I myself got an error when I tried to save directly in C drive. Could you please change the folder destination and try again?

    Thanks,

    George
