Hello,
I've created a simple approval flow that sends an approval request to one approver when a file is uploaded to a SharePoint folder (trigger is When a file is created (properties only). Then moves the file to a different folder once it's approved. I have two other colleagues that would be uploading their own files to the same folder and should be sending an approval request for those to the same approver. I had them copy the flow I'd created. So all three of us have the same flow running in the same folders. The problem is I always appear as the requestor (in addition to the actual requestor) even though I'm not the one who "created" the file in the specific SharePoint folder--the approver always receives TWO approval notification emails--one from the actual "creator" of the file and one from me. The ideal scenario is of course for the approver to receive only one approval notification email from the actual person who uploaded the file. I'm not really sure where the problem's coming from. Why would my name always appear as a requestor? I initially planned to maintain only 1 flow with myself as the owner then just share the ownership to the two other colleagues but had to abandon that plan precisely because my name would always appear as the requestor no matter who the uploader of a file is. But now this happens even if we each ran our individual/personal flows. I'd appreciate any help!
@clavde there needs to be only one flow running for the library, e.g. the flow that you created will work for any user who uploaded files to the library, so there is no need of flows to be created for other two users.
Also for approval showing your user as requested by, you can configure the created by used in the Requestor field so that user who uploaded file will appear in Requestor
