working around the lookup column threshold limit

I understand that now , Power Automate have a limitation that the lookup column threshold limit it the maximum number (12) of lookup columns , please refer to below article.

http://www.benprins.net/2019/01/15/flow-working-around-the-lookup-column-threshold/

I am a new user in power automate but I need to maint some existing share-point site , I would have three question want to raise:

1) Are there any effect of the existing flow? Because some of my share-point list have more than 12 column and seems the workflow works well before. I am guessing the flow might create before ms set this limitation.

2) If I modified the workflow of the existing site , would the flow failed because of this new limitation? Because we will have a site re-vamp and may need to use some of the exiting flow. for example just add a "send an email " function and save the flow.

3) Do you have any suggestion rather than create flows with different view? Because this limitation make us hard to maint the existing site which currently have more than 12 columns.

Please help provide some suggestion as it is a site link to many work flows and we afraid that will cause some of the function works before re-vamp of the site but failed to use after we do the upgrade , this will cause a huge trouble and might irreversible.

    1) That is not a new limit and that article is over a year and a half old.  There has always been a limit on the number of lookup columns that you can use in SharePoint.  So it shouldn't affect any existing flows.  If you had any flows that violated that limit you would have been having issues with them for at least a year now.

    2) See #1

    3) The only ways to avoid this issue is to not use more than 12 lookups in a SharePoint list or limit the number of lookups used by specifying a view.   Those are the only workarounds.

How about the flow we build in 2018? Because this really is a old site

Again, the article is from 2019, but I believe the restriction on the number of Lookup columns has always been there.  So I don't think you will have issues with that restriction in older flows, pre 2019, either.
