Problem with MSG Typ and EML Typ

Hello dear community,
I currently have a problem with filing in SharePoint. We have created a flow that stores MSG files, i.e. the extension, in a SharePoint folder. That works too. The problem is that when I want to open the file in SharePoint in an app like Outlook, I get an error message. The file is an image of an email and the attachment, which should ideally open in Outlook. I have attached the error message, perhaps someone could help me here. Best regards.

Which version of Outlook you are opening from? Old or New?

That can't be the problem. It works if I save the file via Harmonie or if I save the file manually.

    Hi @max91 !

In SharePoint if you open the file are you able to view it?. If yes, then that's good.

But if you are trying to open on an Outlook app, you need to make sure you have Old Outlook on your system for that to open. New Outlook will probably not open it That's why you are getting that error.

I also had the similar issue when I was trying to open in New Outlook. When I changed it to Old Outlook permanently, it works.

Then you need to chose Outlook (Old one) as default to open all my .msg files on the system. First right click on that .msg file and follow the next:

    Then click 'Always'

You have to make sure you have Old Outlook App on your machine for it to work though.

    I hope this helps.
