Flows continue to run without any trigger.

My flows have been running smoothly for a month now until two days ago when I received an email with the message "Your flow may be performing slow because it's running more actions than expected. Your flow will be turned off in 7 days if it does not use fewer actions."  The flows are continuously running without any items being created or modified on the list.  Some of the flows send emails to customers which I only want if the job is updated so it's confusing that the customers are getting repeat emails when they shouldn't.  I even turned the flows off but still emails are being sent.  Can someone help please?  Thank you.

    Hi @sheflips,

Flow will send repeated Emails should be that the user saved the file many times when he modified the file, and the file will be saved many times every time he makes minor changes to the file, so the Flow will be triggered many times.
After the Flow is closed, the trigger will not fire again, but the flow run that has not been completed before will continue to run until the run is complete.
