MS Forms Responses to Excel - Excel does not update

Dear Community,

I have a question concerning the short flow attached. Briefly, If a MS Forms is filled out and submitted, I want the responses to be added to an excel File. The flow runs if I submit the form and it also shows up as succeeded. However, the excel file remains empty...

Any insights on why this might happen and a potential solution approache?

Thank you!

    Hi,

I would suggest to check Forms ID

I had a similar issue and only after awhile realised that the form powerautomate picked up and the actual form i need IDs were different. Solved it by copying the ID of the form and just pasting it in 'When a new response is submitted' and 'Get response details'

    Hi @AverageJoey ,

thanks for the proposed solution - checked it and also with the custom value entered, the flow runs successfully but the excel remains empty (despite when having a look at the conducted runs, the "get details" as well as "add row to table for excel" show the values I entered in the form, screenshots attached)...

any other idea why it does not add the outputs to excel?

    Thanks!

To add on my above message: just localized the file in my own one drive, and there, the excel row was added.... When the Excel is localized on the sharepoint, however, it wont update the rows. I am however an owner of the sharepoint group and have a somewhat similar flow (sharepoint list to excel in case of updates) for a different sharepoint which runs smoothly and does what it should.

Could there still be an issue with rights?
