App will neither save to cloud or local.

Error when trying to saving to cloud:

'There was a problem saving to powerapps.'

Session ID:139785ac-b8f6-0656-ba9b-eed0041464de

Error when trying to save local:

Error: (APP NAME).msapp cannot be saved. The file may be in use by another application.

Hi Thomas,

I cannot reproduce your issue. Please check to make sure that all the date sources in the app are available. Please remove the corrupted datasource from the application then you should be able to save it without problems.

If you still cannot save the app, please feel free to tell.

What a surprise. What do you actually gain from the session ID? Pretty sure I just wasted my time typing it out. Too late now anyway, 3 hours of work lost 👍🏻

Please give Mona a break: she does not have access to the analytics data necessary to decode a session id. I do.

Your session died due to some issue with Environments. In fact it gave errors pretty much from start to finish. The error specifically was "No environment found that matches this app, using internal name as display name". I am not remotely an expert in Environments so I will open a ticket for someone more able than I to investigate further.

And as a general aside, sessionIds are often the only way for us to determine the cause of certain classes of issues, and we greatly appreciate it when customers quote them.

Could she not have just mentioned the fact that she cannot decode session IDs in her post? Not that it would have alleviated any frustration seeing as every single day using or creating the app I experience a problem of some sort.

'it gave errors pretty much from start to finish', that sums up my experience of using powerapps.

Apologies for the errors that you are running into, it appears that during that session after several succesfull saves, something happened on the file system while we were persisting the application locally that got into an error and it prevented us from being able to read the file further.
And it seems that retrying did not address the problem.

Last night i encountered the exact same error as Thomas, my revisons were lost. I re-did the revison this morning and then again, still same error.

So frustrated, dont know how to proceed.. please help me please ...
