Is it better better to build multiple flows from the same trigger, or one big flow with multiple paths?

Hi.

I'm just starting with all things Power and slowly building flows that take Microsoft forms answers and store them in SharePoint lists. One of the big forms has multiple paths, depending if it's being filled at the start or the end of the shift.

I need to direct different path answers to different lists. I'm learning as I go so this may be a really basic question but: is it better to build multiple flows from the same trigger (new form response) or one big flow with multiple if-then conditions?

My biggest worry right now is having to add a column or change something in a list in the future, and then having to fix one giant flow because references broke. Alghough I don't know if fixing multiple smaller flows is better.

It truly depends. You wont want one so large its unruly, but at the same time, what is large exactly? How to define.

But I would say, if you do multiple, you will need to use Trigger Conditions, so that each one doesn't fire for the same record.

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers
