Head/Bottom content snippet doesn't work

Hi everyone,

I tried adding noindex tag to all web pages in sanbox portal.

Then I found the below article which said that meta tag can be added in "Head/Bottom" content snippet, then it will be reflected to the head element in all web pages.

Pre-Defined Content Placeholders In PowerApps (hsd.com.au)

However, after cache clear and hard refresh, nothing changed.  The meta tag I added didn't appear in head element.

My portal version is 9.4.4.43, any advice for this issue?  Or any workaround to add noindex tag?

    I am actually quite surprised to see another post on the Head/Bottom snippet.. I thought I was unique 😢 🤣

    Please follow the steps on my article to see if there was something missing in what you did.. if this still doesn't work let me know and please share a snapshot of your Snippet

    Hi Oliver,

    I did see the 2 articles you mentioned.

    Currently I just added "Head/Bottom" content snippet as below in my sandbox portal.  No other settings.

    Then go to the portal,  I can't find the meta tag added in the last part of head.

    Hi Oliver,

    Sorry, I just found the meta tag appeared in head now.

    Google successfully exclude the search result of sandbox portal, but Bing didn't.

    The meta tag  I input for noindex should be OK, right?

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">
    <meta name="googlebot" content="noindex">
    <meta name="googlebot-news" content="noindex">

    did you clear the cache after making the change? this would require you to clear the cache before the changes make effect

    not sure why it's not working for Bing, perhaps it takes some time for bing to refresh its own cache
