I need people outside my organisation to add a JPEG photo only to a flow

A challenge for the Pro Flow designers out there.

Too add some context I have set up a flow for staff to fill in outside my organisation to apply for an ID badge on site.

The flow creates an approval which then goes to the line manager. The line manager approves and the form goes into a spreadsheet with the relevant form detail and approval.

To complete the flow I require the candidate to upload a JPEG photo so that we can link the form to the photo.

As this is outside my organisation I am unable to use the "Insert Image" on the form.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do, add a link to SharePoint possibly, but also more to the point how do I make this upload a JPEG photo only (so we do not get any with filters)

Best,

Adam

    Hi,

What about asking you externals to send an email with photo as attachment to an email address monitored by a flow ? That's what I would do for external users.

    Hi Sam,

Great suggestion and something I have not thought of, could you give me an idea of what that might look like?

    Best,

    Hi,

Here's a minimal flow using "When a new email arrives (V3)" trigger and a "Create file" to save 1st attachment to SharePoint:

Pay attention to highlighted trigger configuration. I also specify what subject should contains to further filter incoming emails. My flow's owner is a service account which has its own mailbox, but you specify what mailbox to monitor by specifying the 'To" field.
