Download from PowerBI - unable to get UI element

Hi,

Im trying to use PAD to download data from PowerBI - I dont have access to the PowerBI Datasource, just the web report.  I launch the URL and it opens PowerBI with the correct selection (as I made this my default).  I then want to click the little ... in a table and select Export Data.  However, it seems I am unable to use PAD to select any elements on a PowerBI page - Ive tried with Chrome, Internet Explorer, both the standard and automation browser.  I can select the element OK in PAD but when I run it, no matter what the element is or if I use the UI Automation, Click UI element or the Browser Automation, click link on webpage, it always fails to select the element when running. Does PowerBI create some dynamic webpage with different element  names or something every time it runs?  Its strange that I can select the element initially with no issues but if I run thr workflow it then fails to find the element.

I have the same question (0)

Hello @Craigja - it's possible as you mentioned that the selector changes dynamically in the web browser.  You can drill down into the selector builder for two of the same elements to find out.  If there is something common between the two selectors for the same element, try modifying the attribute's value and use the operator 'Starts with' or 'Contains'.
