Hi,
We are building few SharePoint forms and the screen size seems to be limited to 790 px which doesn't fit for screens more that 1920 px (see screenshots). My client has 2560 px screens. How do I achieve that?
Thanks,
Asish
You could simply build a tablet App sitting over teh sharepoint list. This can be set for for IPAD, 16x9 etc. Using dynamics 365 on a PC the form nearly fills the view and provides a pretty good interactive capability for the user
I suppose for the SharePoint PowerApps forms, we don't get the Aspect ratio choice, only Portrait vs Landscape and Small vs Large. Currently we have set it to Landscape mode with Two columns layout but still cuts out when there are errors.
Also, would be interested to know how to interface Dynamics 365 on a user desktop. We are primarily interested for users to launch the PowerApps form from inside the list.
Please let me know if I am missing anything
When you create an App it will autmatically be a selection for use in Dynamics 365. This allows the app be used on the mobile platform and a PC.
I have many apps like this and totally controls teh user interaction with SharePoint. I prefer that as most users get confused with SharePoint, it also requires neraly no training as you totally control the workflow, adds flexibility as it can be now worked on aphone, tablet or PC
Do you mean creating a App from PowerApps? I don't get it when I customize the forms from SharePoint. So also to add some more information, we are customisizing the OOB forms of SharePoint during this process.
Yes. Creating App is just as easy.
My point is you can keep users well away from even touching the sharepoint list. An App works faster and is accessed easir that having peopl go to sharepoint. My users have no need to even see the sharepoint list now.
Yeah, in our case, the list is an inventory repository, so the users need to see the inventory and then create new ones for updates.
