Creating a Flow to notify the team when a new forms responses is submitted

Hello,

I've created a form in Microsoft Forms and have added this to a Teams channel. I'm having trouble creating a flow to notify the team when a new form has been submitted.

The form is sitting in my group forms - this won't pull through on the flow.

I have tried creating a form in 'my forms', this will pull through on the flow but using this particular form means the group are unable to edit it.

Is there a way around this please?

hi @Hannah1 I you want to unable the edition from your users into your group please create the form here: https://forms.microsoft.com/ The copy the share url and go to teams and add a that like a website.

Then you can show just your form.

    Hi all,

I've found a solution on a different thread, as follows:

"When you've created your form click on the Share in the top right and copy the first url to notepad, notepad++, Word or whatever text editor you've got to hand. Then in the trigger in Flow paste just the characters AFTER the id= as a custom value.

So if for example your form response url is..
    https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=g63aHu-yPUiB8SxIaC9A7B4fqWJxhk9EprbnRFYHGoVUME41R1FRMURSREpJNUpVQVlMRDY1SDdTNSQlQCN0PWcu

..you paste the following in as a custom value both in the "When a new response is submitted" AND in the "Get response details" action.

    g63aHu-yPUiB8SxIaC9A7B4fqWJxhk9EprbnRFYHGoVUME41R1FRMURSREpJNUpVQVlMRDY1SDdTNSQlQCN0PWcu

Then you carry on with the Flow as normal."

I've done this and it's worked consistently all afternoon which is great!

    Thank you folks
