Is there an ideas going for this to vote to get this fixed? There is no reason why the CDS (current environment) can't support a direct GUID insert. A little silly actually:)

You can create Support request with Microsoft Support and they can direct to Technical team. Additionally , you can post your issues in ideas forum(link below) to suggest new features.
