10Hi there! I have created a flow in which I feel that I am ALMOST complete, however, I can't seem to get the approvals to go thru and to update the file properties--any assistance is greatly appreciated!!
Inquiries:
If approval of a file or folder within a doc library is received via the below flow, how long is the approval status retained for? I need for it to last forever until deleted (for audit purposes).
- If only kept for 90 days or so, how can I keep all file / folder approval status' to infinity?
Steps:
1) Flow will be manually triggered within a doc library for a specific file or folder
2) The file or folder should be read only (no edits to be made)
2) Multiple mgr approvals needed (treated as independent)
- Would like for the approval request (email) to go out to all at the same time with receiving all responses back (whether it be
approved or rejected.
- Would like the flow to send a reminder email daily until approval response is rec'd.
- Would like for the flow to update file/folder properties to individual responses/comments received.
3) If a rejection from any of the managers is given, I would like to receive a notification via Teams Chat that one of the managers
has rejected, whereas, the next steps would not apply.
- Would like for the flow to update file/folder properties to individual responses/comments received.
4) If all managers have approved, I would like to receive a Team chat indicating that the manager approval process is complete
whereas, flow will then request for a FINAL approval from the Sr. Mgr indicating each of the manager responses and comments.
5) If the Senior manager approves, I would like for the final file or folder properties to be updated with APPROVED
- If the Sr. Mgr has not responded, I would like for a reminder email to go out to him daily until responded.
- If the Sr. Mgr has rejected, I would like for a Teams Chat to inform me that the file has been rejected by the Sr. Mgr.
