In March 2018, I created an approval Flow for "When A New Item is Created" in SharePoint. I used the approval template and filled in all fields needed, including the dynamic content Link To Item field. For months this flow has worked with no issues. Sending approval email to one person, who was always able to open the link directly from the Approval email and see detail of the item in the SharePoint list.
Last week, we noticed the Approval Email sent from Microsoft Flow, the link to Item was no longer active. Clicking on this link did nothing, no hyperlink was present any longer.
I've tried to edit the flow, reinsert the dynamic content for Link to Item, and have gone so far as to rebuild a new flow. Nothing has worked.
What has changed in Microsoft flow, and better yet, how do I correct this so the link to the SharePoint list item is active again?
When I set up a flow to with link to item in the outlook send after someone has created a item. The link has a edit all button but once you push it you can edit but not save. The same happens when you use the Copy Link button . The link pulls up as the item created with edit all but no save button after you edit it . Can you please look into how the links are being sent under the dynamic content and make sure when we edit all we have access to save from there versus going back into home and then pulling the item up and editing and saving that route. Thanks
I'm seeing the same issue. The issue appears to be spreading where there are some people that still get a working hyperlink but more and more are limited. They have to open the Original Message to use the hyperlink.
Hi @mab17,
I have made a test on my side and the issue couldn't be confirmed on my side.
The link to item would always be hyperlink and works well in the received email and in the Approval center.
I would help report the issue to my product team to see if it is an existing bug in microsoft flow.
Best regards,
Alice
