How to highlight table values so I can copy them?

I have a data table displayed on my Canvas App with values that I would like to be able to highlight so I can copy and paste it for other uses:

For example, in this table I want to be able to click and highlight the '12389123' value so I can copy it then paste it for other uses, but right now when I click on it nothing happens and I am unable to highlight it.

By highlight I mean selecting it like this:

I tried looking online for solutions, but I didn't find anything relevant.

You will need to use a Gallery - Data Tables do not have this function.

What if gallery is not a viable option? The gallery doesn't display my data well and I found that the data table does it perfectly and cleanly and very nicely formatted. Is there any workaround that can allow me to copy the content? For example, is there another small button I can add next to each value that when clicked, would copy the contents of the table value? Or other workarounds?

Hi @edel12345 ,

It should not be difficult to make a Gallery look exactly like a Data Table, but this aside, the issue you face is that a Data Table only allows the selection of an entire record (not an individual field in the record). If you knew the field you wanted to copy, then making the Default of a Text Box

YourDataTableName.Selected.YourFieldName

would allow you to select and copy it.
