How do you add an attachment button in Power Apps Teams

I'm trying to create an app with basic form functions and i cannot seem to find or figure out how to add a function that will allow my app users to upload a file/add attachment at the end of the form (not looking to use MS Lists for this solution if possible).

I downloaded the "Ideas" app Microsoft has already precreated for you, in that there is a button in there that allows you to add attachments. I tried to break it down but I just don't understand how it's done. I really want to add it to the table I've really created in Teams dataverse. Do I have to connect a list to enable this type of feature? The Ideas app isn't usings lists. Any help would be awesome.

Hi @ItsChilly410 ,

Could you tell me:
Have you created an app in teams? Is your data source dataverse?

If my assumptions are correct, at my knowledge , apps created in teams currently do not support attachments.
The dataverse of powerapps studio supports attachment function. When creating a table, you could check the setting to enable attachments.

However, there is no such option when creating a table in teams.
I think you could try to create app and table in powerapss studio, and embed the app in teams to use.

I actually created a new MS List as if I were creating a table in the Teams Dataverse. I created a new App In the Teams+Power Apps and linked my SharePoint. I then inserted "Edit Form" and linked my list to it. It did its magic and the attachment button was there. I'll have to do some manipulation to get it to look nice but it works. It also took my multi-select and made it a legit multi-select without and additional coding. I actually got this idea from you post, thank you so much! As Michael Scott would say, "this is a creative solution, Win, Win, Win" 😉
