Hi,

I am trying to locate the Task Id for a task inside of planner.

I have 2 flows, one that creates both a sharepoint list item and also a new task once a Microsoft form has been filled out.

On the second flow, I would like to update the task with the progress status 'Complete' after the flow below has been completed.

However, I am struggling to locate the Task ID of an open task. - When I click into the Task ID selection, it successfully presents me with a list of open tasks, but the task will change depending on the action performed, so it is'nt always a set task tom update.

Hi

You have to pass the task id as input to that field, when you select the dropdown- you will see a list of tasks for that planner, at the bottom, you see an option like enter custom value - select it and then pass the task id. I am not sure where the task id is present ? is it in sharepoint list- if yes which column ?

Hi Nived,

Yes, I can see the option for 'enter custom value, but I do not what content to put in here, because every time the flow runs, the Task ID will be different.

No, the data is not in Sharepoint lists, it is inside the Microsoft planner app.

Hi, you have to provide the task id under Task ID field even providing as custom input.

So if data is not present in Sharepoint list- how to identify the task in planner which need to be updated ?

could you share more details around this ?
