Exporting Power BI reports as PDF using Power Automate Desktop

Hi All,

I am trying to export a Power BI report as a PDF file using the desktop flows. However while exporting i have to check if the pages contain data. If any of the page is blank, then it should not be exported.

Is there a way I can check if a page is empty or not in Power BI service before the export click is performed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Sri

Did You finally managed how to make pdf export from Power Bi?  I have the same task to do with some additional steps (export after some slicer changes)  but after 2 days of trying I am done. Nothing works there like I expect. All the time I get information that the button is not recognized

    Hi @PetrosF-MSFT ,

    Thanks for your quick response.

Can I make the flow to loop through each page and get this done. Also i wasn't able to locate the UI elements in the Power BI service.

    Regards

    Sri

Hi @Anonymous you could use the action "If web page contains" to check if the web page contains any specific UI element/Text or not. If not, then you could create a logic to skip that page.
