Capitalization Matters?

Hello, I have built a flow to create a To-do and sent an email when someone posts a message in Teams.  It is built to send a email directly to the person mentioned if it sees their name in the message.  However, if someone uses all caps or does not capitalize the name, it will not send as intended.

How can I get the flow to recognize the text whether or not it is written with capitalization?

I assume you are doing some sort of condition, maybe with a contains?

If so, maybe you can try to convert both side of the condition to all upper or all lower with the expression of either toUpper([???]) or toLower([???]), where [???] would be your data?

Thank you for the suggestion.  I was able to use the Compose function to make the Body of the message all lowercase.  Then I put the output of the compose function in the Control/Condition steps to look for the specific words I was wanting, in this case a name.  This makes the condition true and go to the next step of sending that specific person an email but with the body of the original message not lowercased.

It wasn't until I realized I could use the body of the Teams message in the email being sent.  The lowercase compose function is really just a computation not anything that I had to use in replies or messages.
