Send an email with Options - PA

Is anyone having issues with Send an email with options in power automate?  Users are getting an error message that reads "Exception occurred while receiving response."

I tried to reauthenticate, I changed connector to another individual.  I even tried to have the end users (who are receiving the email) try to fwd. me the email and the email will not come to my inbox.  Any ideas?>

Can you share the flow with us and how you setup the Options...

While I haven't seen this maybe @Tomac or @developerAJ or @chiaraalina have and could give some incite, as well as maybe.

Them not being able to forward to you.. that really sounds more Exchange / Outlook related. Are they using the New UI for outlook or old?

Looks like an Outlook issue, haven’t seen this error before.

Personally, I don’t use this connector much — not a big fan, I usually prefer Adaptive Cards instead.

Email options are working for me. If the users also can't forward the message, that implies there's an add-on in Outlook that needs specific options set and if they're set wrong then it fails completely.

Can the users see/forward those messages from webmail?

I have about 20 flows that use the Send an e-mail with options action. So far, I have not had any issues. Hopefully it is not some new bug that has been introduced. Try adding a second option (N/A). Maybe the one option is an issue since the action is send an e-mail with options (plural). All my use cases have more than one option.

Not being able to forward the e-mail would seem to be a security feature. Since you are sending the e-mail to designated people to have them respond, it makes sense that it would prevent the ability to forward it. I actually haven't tested this or know for certain, since as I mentioned I've had no issues with the action in my flows. You could ask Copilot if that is the case.

I am having the same issue, on a flow that hasn't changed in months and has been running fine until this past week. I have a Yes and No option so I don't believe the issue was just having one option.

All our users are also reporting this same problem.  We have several long-standing power automate flows that make use of the "send email with options" connector that have been working reliably for years.  Suddenly, they all produce this error message when the email recipient clicks one of the buttons.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix?  It is really generating a lot of confusion for our business.
