How to check for an alert box in power automate desktop?

Hello Power Automate Desktop Experts

I have multiple accounts within an accounting system. Depending on the status of the accounts, some have dialog boxes that pop up due the alerts.
Accounts in good standing do not have dialog boxes.

My questions are:
1) how can I design the power automate desktop flow to check and find out if there is an alert box?
2) If an alert box exists, then click OK

Otherwise power automate keeps moving with the rest of the flows.

Thank you in advance

    Hi,

One of the easiest ways to work with pop-ups is when you first load a webpage.  In this example, I am using the action go to webpage (but the advanced options exist on other actions too).

The nice thing about this is you are not limited to just an OK button, you can add your own options as needed OR if you intent is to just close it, you don't even need to click OK, also shown below.

So you have a couple of good options to help you keep going.

@trice602, this is a desktop application that I use power automate desktop to log into. Upon using RPA to navigate and looking up the account number then this dialog box shows up.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Understood.  Then the process would be the same (except not in browser).  Capture the UI and click the OK button to continue.  I would have a delay in here after the account is selected, then have an if image action.  Essentially you are searching for that OK button, then if it exists, click on it.

@trice602, Thank you very much for your assistance! The If image statement works very well for what I was looking for.

    Much appreciated!
