Power App POS Connecting with external peripherals

1.How can we connect external peripherals like Cash Drawer/Printer/Barcode Scanner/Credit card swiping machines
with Power App POS Application. [Need to build an integration for OPOS so that it works with any OPOS supported device]
2.Power app is the right choice to overcome the speed issue when it connect with cloud databases and payment gateway operations?

    I think the native Canvas app control uses number and not GS1, i don't know much in this area.  But I can't see how to connect peripheral devices to power apps.  For example I have a weighing scale, and i want to get the weight without typing it.  Basically, I need a PC connected to the device, and the PC can communicate with Power Apps.  I know it's possible as I've seen other low code and manufacturing software do it.  No idea on Power Platforms capability.
