Use Power Automate to Send Email with Link to Created Item in Datasheet View

I have created a SharePoint list to automate and track PO requests. Once the request has been approved, I have a Power Automate flow that sends an email to the team so they can create the PO as well as a confirmation email to the requestor. In the confirmation email I have a link that takes them directly to their form so they can modify if necessary. In SharePoint, I have a Datasheet view that has 3 fields (columns) the PO creator needs to update once they have created the PO. These fields are not visible in the form. I have inserted the URL to the Datasheet view as well as the ID of the item in the email. It will go to the Datasheet view but I cannot seem to get it to go to the specific record that needs updating.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @PandoraGirl

Could you pls share the screenshot(s) of the flow in edit mode with the sample link mentioned in the email?

The email sends a copy of what was submitted to both the requestor and the creator in this format which is created with code (I did not do this part).

The code for the requestor email is below. "Outputs" takes them to the edit mode of the form for any changes.

The code for the creator email is below. This will take me to the edit mode of the Datasheet view but will not take me to the specific record. I have tried using variations of the Compose Data Operation used above as well as inserted the records' ID but nothing is working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @PandoraGirl

Pls try passing "Link to item" properties from dynamic content instead of appending ID to the static SharePoint site URL. The "Link to item" contains the full URL of a list item:

If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

I have tried Link to Item and that will take me to the form view. The fields (columns) that need updating are not in the form view as the requestor should not be able to see/edit them.
