Hi, I have a SharePoint list, I want to create a flow to trigger some actions, but don't know how to identify an item is new created or modified. Can you help?

    Hi @YanLiang , Since the returns are the same, there’s an easy way to understand if the item was created or updated. Since SharePoint considered the creation of a file/item as a modification, both dates will be the same. So you can have a “Condition” action that separates both behaviors.

    Also, check this: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Check-if-SharePoint-list-item-created-or-modified/td-p/779195

    Sadly this will not work if you are using file attachments.

    @PowerAppsJunkie  how to do the setting for this scenario? Use version number?

    @YanLiang

    That is what I'm doing.  On a newly created item I not only do the attachments but also I update the record with a unique identifier so I know what version to check to determine if it's new or modified if the version is > than my created version.  In my instance I consider version > 3 is modified and have a condition to route my flow in that way.
