Urgent - Start an approval action doesn't send an email notification

Hello

This issue seems to have happened a few times in the past:

It was working fine then it just stopped working.

I haven't changed my Start and Wait for Approval action and it was working fine.

If I go to my Flow app I can see the approvals there, but I'm not getting the notification emails.
They're not in my Clutter, Junk email, etc.

Again, it was working before and going straight to my inbox perfectly.

If I run a test from my Flow, when it gets to the Approval action, it takes some time to run then it displays the error:

Flow run timed out. Please try again.



As this issue has happened before, what is the root cause of the issue?
Can the root cause get fixed permanently to stop this issue from reoccurring at the Microsoft end?

    Hi @Anonymous,

     

    I have tested many times on my side, no similar problems have occurred. The flow works well.

     

    You can create similar Flow in other Environment and see if the issue still exists.

     

    Or if your problem occupied often, you can create a remind email to the user.

    After receiving the feedback to determine whether need to send approve email again.

    Hi, @v-lin-msft 

    Can you also confirm if emails are sent out when using "Start and wait for approval (V2)" in GCC tenant? 

     

    I also get the approval assigned but do not receive an email. 

     

    I tried using "Send email with options" and got the email but my user would prefer where they can add Reason for approval/rejection.
