delay email being sent flow

Hi all,

I have a flow which emails the individual that has responded to the form, this is working great; however, I want to delay that email. It is not working, the email still sends straight away. Can i put the delay in between type of service and the reserve soldier condition? as the delay will apply to all these conditions

You need to drag the send an email to BELOW the delay. The way you've built it means the delay happens after the email has been sent!

I so knew this lol, i was looking at the examples and thinking this does not make sense. So this delay, basically stops the flow for 1 hour? so if i placed it after Get responses and before the type of service (switch) it will delay all the cases after for 1 hour

Yes if you move the delay to between the get response details action and the type of service switch it will delay it for 1 hour.

    Rob, thank you so much.

I wonder if you could help me with another issue. It is soldiers that are leaving the service that fills out this form. Their information then populates an excel spreadsheet with a termination date. Is there a flow I can use, that checks that termination date on the excel file that triggers an email 3 weeks before they leave, then follows up 2 and 4 months later.
