Count Unread Emails to a Variable

I am looking to use Power Automate to count unread emails in an inbox and then I'm saving that number to a sharepoint record.

Where im stuck is how do I count the unread emails? Most threads I find are about getting around the limit, but in my case that wont be an issue.

    Hi there,

You can do it this way:

    1) Get Emails, ensuring "Unread" is set to "Yes"

    2) Use a Compose - click in the Inputs field, select the Expression tab, type in "length()" and  between the brackets, click Dynamic Content and choose "Value" from your Get Emails output.

    3) Update whatever SharePoint item you want using the "Outputs" from your Compose. It will have the # of Unread. Mine was 2!
