Fire Attendance register

I have been asked by my manger to come up with a smart way for employees can show attendance, It is record who is on site, and act as a fire register.

I had used excel it a drop down for in and out. However we are experiencing sync issues when using mobile phones to log attendance. see below

Column 2 is just to show how many first aid and emergency response we have on site.

We have never used power apps at our factory before,  Is this something that can be transferred to powerapps and easily setup?

There is no real need to log date and times. it is just for an instant view of who is on site.

Thanks

Yes you can use  Powerapps Gallery to display the Information in the table from Excel.

You will create a table in excel and connect it to powerapps.

    Hi @Jim ,

Do you want to filter data based on in/out status?

Firstly, I suggest you upload your excel file to one drive.

Format your data in excel as a table.

Then connect your app with this excel table.

Secondly, in powerapps, you could use a gallery to check Attendance's register.

You could also only check Attendance that status is in.

For example, set the gallery's Items to :

    Filter(exceltablename,IN/OUT="IN")

Thirdly, you could also use edit form to create records or edit records for this excel table.

Here's a doc about the integration of gallery, edit form, display form for your reference:

    Best regards,
