Emailing (gmail) a list of upcoming gcal events

Hi Group

I'm a newbie on this platform and I'm having dificulty getting my 'flow' to work.  I use IFTTT and Zapier with no problems, and I'm now giving this platform a tryout.

What I'm trying to achieve seems simple enough.....

I have a dedicated google calendar for my upcoming availability to work.

I would like to (once a week - Sunday night maybe) email, to a list of potential freelance employers, my availability for the week ahead.

I thought the easiest way to do it, would be to create a recurring google calendar event (on a different calendar) that triggers the sending of the emails to the email addresses listed in that recurring entries description.  OR maybe even get the email address list from mailchimp if possible...?

All fine - but then - I'm having problems with my flow even seeing the new trigger event in the first place.

Let alone the parsing of the upcoming events from my availability calendar.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction.....?

Nothing I'm doing seems to work.

    Hi @Kirb,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Could you please show a bit more about your error message?

Do you want to send an email to a list of employees with the upcoming Google calendar events?

I suppose that you add a "Recurrence" trigger within your flow, is it true? The Recurrence trigger would be fired when the time condition is met (once a week - Sunday night) and the flow would only run once (When you save your flow, the Recurrence trigger would be fired once automatically).

If you want to send an email to employees with multiple upcoming Google calendar events usning the "Recurrence" trigger, I afraid that it is not possible to achieve your needs.

    Best regards,

    Kris
