filter to view.. how to show gallery of search item only that are the current user ??

hi

 i have a gallery I use the choice(..) to search the category which is working fine.  but  I want to add one more filter for search for the user - search user -which will display their name and it should link to the email address in the gallery items that they created

Not sure if a dropdown is right or how to...

 

and if there's no selection gallery show everything.

 

There are 4 emails

text = thisitem.Email (which is a single line in SP List) as this item
