Copilot Studio- Restrict users access

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to restrict the access of some users to Copilot Studio ? it is available for everyone under our tenenat but it was purchased for a specific group of users and we don't want to disable it for everything either.

Hello,

Can you try the following method.

You can create a group in Azure AD and assign the Copilot Studio license to only those users who should have access. For example:

Create a group, e.g., Copilot Studio Access.

Assign the Microsoft 365 Copilot license (which includes Copilot Studio) only to users in this group.

Ensure that users who shouldn’t have access to Copilot Studio don’t have this license assigned.

This way, only users who are part of the licensed group will be able to access the features of Copilot Studio.

@vinothSelvam Thanks but which license are we talking about as I could only see Microsoft Copilot Studio Viral Trial under my M365 licenses although we bought the Studio version

Can you please let me know which license you have purchased.

Is it Microsoft Copilot Studio license (or) Microsoft 365 Copilot license.?

The message in the image suggests that your Microsoft 365 tenant does not have a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription active. It seems you're only seeing a "Copilot Studio Trial" license under your available licenses, which may indicate that the full version of Microsoft Copilot Studio hasn't been assigned or purchased properly.

If you've already purchased the Studio version but can't see it, you can contact Microsoft support .
