Hello.

I am new to the Power Family of Apps.
I am walking through the "Exercise Build an approval request" Exercise - Build an approval request - Training | Microsoft Learn
I receive this error when I follow step 1.7 - Select the Start and wait for an approval action. The properties panel opens on the left hand side.

Failed to retrieve dynamic inputs. Error details: 'The dynamic operation request to API 'approvals' operation 'GetApprovalTypeMetadataV2' failed with status code 'NotFound'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "message": "No HTTP resource was found that matches the request URI 'https://10.0.7.32:20017/apis/approvals/types/Approve/Reject/metadata/webhookInputs?api-version=2016-11-01'." }'

it stops me from completing 1.8 - Choose Approve/Reject - First to respond from the Approval Type dropdown.

I deleted and readded the Approvals connecter but get the same message.

What do I need to do to resolve this error?

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you’re encountering an issue with retrieving dynamic inputs in your Logic App. This can sometimes happen due to various reasons, such as network issues, incorrect configurations, or temporary service disruptions.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Check Network Connectivity: Ensure that your network connection is stable and that there are no firewall or proxy settings blocking the request.

Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, clearing your browser cache can resolve issues related to loading dynamic content. Try clearing your cache and then reloading the Logic App designer.

Switch to Legacy Designer: Some users have found that switching to the legacy version of the Logic App designer can resolve issues with dynamic inputs. You can switch to the legacy designer.

Verify Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access and modify the Logic App. Sometimes, insufficient permissions can cause issues with retrieving dynamic inputs.

Check for Updates: Make sure that your Logic App and any related connectors are up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve issues with dynamic inputs.

If this fixes the issue, please mark as resolved to help others with find it.

    Happy to help.
