Hi, guys.

I want to search e-mails by categories with Connect of Office 365 Outlook.

I could search with text by below formula.

Office365Outlook.GetEmails({fetchOnlyUnread:true, searchQuery:"Search Word"})

But I can't find option for category from  below page.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/#get-emails-(v3)

How should I do? I need your help.

Thank you.

Sorry to say, you cannot search the categories.  Categories are individual preferences in email as opposed to system standards, so the connector does not support it.

It's not included in the Microsoft Graph results, so they are not available in the connector.

I don't see anyone requesting it in the Ideas Forum...you should consider putting it in the Ideas

If not helpful, I at least hope this is informative for you.

    Hi @hiro_nk ,

Do you want to search emails by Categories through the Office 365 Outlook connector?

I agree with @RandyHayes 's thought almost. If you want to search emails by Categories through the Office 365 Outlook connector, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    I cloud realize below formula.

    Office365Outlook.GetEmails({fetchOnlyUnread:false, searchQuery:"Category:'my category'"})

    Thanks

    @hiro_nk

Good to see they have added the support for this now.

However, keep in mind, Categories are personal preferences and not global to email.  So, if you have a "Business" category in your email, it does not mean that anyone else will.
