We want to automatically record ad-hoc Teams calls, including both regular calls and dial-in calls. These calls are cross-organizational. After the calls, we would like the recordings to be automatically uploaded to SharePoint. How can this be achieved in Microsoft Teams or using Power Automate ?

We want to record all Teams calls and meetings. We have Power Automate and SharePoint available for integration.
Our requirements are as follows:
  • Record all inbound and outbound Teams calls.
  • Record calls within the organization as well as with external organizations.
  • Ensure recordings are captured regardless of whether the meeting or call is organized by an internal or external user.
  • Record all Teams channel meetings.
  • Record all personal meetings.
  • Record all dial-ins.
Can this be achieved? If yes, what configurations are required to meet these requirements?
Thank you...

I cannot say for certain, but I don't think this is possible to automatically record ALL calls. There would be so many data privacy concerns with doing so in a number of countries and regions. This is guidance for just the United States United States Recording Laws - Recording Law and the EU EU Audio and Video Recording Laws - Recording Law. At a minimum, every U.S. state requires at least one party participating in the call consent to being recorded. It sounds like you want to record all calls without people knowing. You may want to consult with your legal department for guidance.
