Add new employees from BambooHR to CRM

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to create a flow that would connect BambooHR to our CRM, so when new employees are added in the first one, they are automatically added to our CRM.

 

However, I'm having trouble getting the info from BambooHR. I created an HTTP request as a trigger to my flow, and set up a webhook in BambooHR, but it never seems to be triggered. I assume I am probably not using the right webhook, but was curious of how other people might have achieved something similar and how they configured the webhook on both the BambooHR and Power automate side.

    Hello, this is probably what you are looking for: Use basic authentication and provide your API key in the Username and Password field

    Hi @junior_gong ,

     

    Thank you for your feedback.

     

    This is not exactly it as I am not doing a get, but rather using the When an HTTP request is received Trigger. 


    My mistake was simply that I had not removed the Sample schema from the trigger set up, so the trigger was not triggering. However, removing the sample payload fixed the issue.
