Update Sharepoint list item when a linked work item is updated

I am working to create a Power Automate flow that is triggered by an Azure DevOps user story custom field named "Test Status" being changed to a different status. I'd like the SharePoint list to reflect the Azure DevOps field that has been changed. I am currently working with this template to create my flow however I am getting errors.

The above screenshots are what my current flow looks like and the below screenshot is the error I get when changing a work item.

The first thing I think is because I really don't have a column called VSTSID in my SharePoint List. Okay fine, I try to use the custom field I create in my SharePoint List called AzureDevOpsID. The Filter Query now is AzureDevOpsID eq ID (dynamic content)

And this is my error now even though it clearly exists in my sharepoint list (I promise it does!). Any ideas what to do you lovely people?

    Hi @henryve1

can you make sure that the internal name of the column really is AzureDevOpsID ? Have you created it maybe with spaces or another name and renamed it afterwards ?

You can check the inernal name in list settings, clicking on the specific column and in the url the last parameter should be field=AzureDevOpsID and exact that name/value should be used in your query.

In one of your screenshots I see that you have a column ADOID, that somehow looks for me like the column we search. You can give it a try with that. But to be 100% sure check the internal name as described..

Nice one! Seems to work and with all the custom fields I have been trying that seems to be the same problem. Is there a way to permanently change the name in a SharePoint List or do I just have to create a new field and not change the name in the future?

Happy that I could help you !!!

During the creation of new fields you have to be careful and really use names without spaces. After creation you can change the Name again. But this will only change the Displayname and not the internal name.

If you create a new column with a space In the name it will I get ally replace the space with %20 and this is not very helpful for future usage in Power Automate.

In Flow and Powershell etc you normally use the internal name if you use functions etc. And it is easier to use names without %20 or any other special characters.
