Generate PDF in power apps without power automate and without PDF cut offs

Hi, I am building a canvas app on power apps. I have a Form control with content that I want to display in my document. I then use the Download() and PDF() function to do something like a PDF(<FormControlName>, {ExpandContainers:true, Size: "A4", Margin: "50px", Orientation: "Portrait"}. This generates a PDF with the correct content, but as others have mentioned, some of the text gets cut off across pages in my PDF. I tried setting margins but they do not work as it only affects the space outside of my Form "container", and the text still gets cut off. The cut off looks similar to the image of the OP of this other post: https://community.powerplatform.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=b957d240-4819-48ad-8f39-74be8f681046

Is there any other method to generate this PDF without having the cut-offs, and without using Power Automate? If it is not possible using the PDF() function, is there a method to populate some sort of document template, like a Word document template, but also without using Power Automate? And if so, do I need to use connectors? Unfortunately I have a restriction that does not allow me to use Power Automate.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi There,

Since you are using the experimental PDF() function is possible encounter issues such as text being cut off across pages. This is a known limitation, and while there isn't a perfect solution without using Power Automate, there are some workarounds you can consider:

    1. Adjust Container Sizes: Ensure that the containers or controls you're converting to PDF fit within standard page sizes (e.g., A4). This might involve manually adjusting the height and width to prevent content from spilling over to the next page.

    2. Use Multiple Containers: Break down your content into multiple containers that each fit within a single page. Then, generate separate PDFs for each container. While this doesn't create a single multi-page PDF, it ensures that content isn't cut off.

For a  guidance on using the PDF() function in Power Apps, you might find this tutorial helpful:

Finally another recomendations since you cannot use Power Automate is to check if any PCF component could do the trick, i have found some options of PCF to print PDF in canvas, do some research if any of them works for you

I hope any of those options helps you to find a solutions, since you are using a experimental feature will be complex to find any official answer.

    Regards,
    Jhonatan
