Power Automate - Building Flows

creating a daily turnover

Posted on by 49
Hi,
I have created a list where we track flights daily by two desks, A and B, and I have been tasked with creating a "daily turnover", basically just an email that will summarize all flights that were worked on by desk, with the details that are logging.  Is that something that power automate can do, and is that a complicated process.  I am more in the fact finding mission right now to understand if it is possible and then how complicated it will be to pull that data and format it in a way that makes sense to readers of that data.

Thanks for any information that you can share.  I can be more specific if needed but again, I want to make sure that the request is doable before digging into specifics.  I also hope this is the right forum for this question,

To better assist you, please provide more detailed information on the following points:
    1. When you mention tracking flights, are you referring to airline flights or another type of flight?
    2. How are you currently tracking these flights? Are you using a specific software or tool?
    3. Where is the data being stored? Is it in a database, spreadsheet, SharePoint list or another format?
    4. What specific details are being logged for each flight?
    5. What is the relevance of "Desk A" and "Desk B" and why does it need to be considered in the flow?
    6. What is the definition of "daily turnover" and how is it calculated?
    7. How do you envision the "daily turnover" email? What key information should it include?
    8. How are the recipients of the email identified? Is this information included within the tracking data, or is it stored elsewhere?
    9. Does the tracking data relate to who needs to be notified? If so, what is the relationship between the tracked data and the recipients?

If you are seeking assistance, it's important to provide enough details for someone to offer guidance. Without that, there will be lots of back and forth, and most people may not bother to respond. Providing more specifics will help determine if Power Automate can meet your needs and how complex the process might be. Thanks!

It is also important that you make an attempt at creating a flow. Then show your flow and ask for assistance when you run into trouble. Otherwise, you're basically asking for free consultation advice.
